This tutorial will show you how to install VMware Workstation Player on Kali Linux/Debian/Ubuntu.
Complete the following steps to install VMware Workstation Player
Open your terminal update the packages list and install the build dependencies by running
Run the following commands in the terminal as root:
apt install aptitude
aptitude update
aptitude upgrade
aptitude install build-essential
aptitude install linux-headers-$(dpkg --print-architecture)
wget --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0" https://www.vmware.com/go/getplayer-linux
chmod +x getplayer-linuxStart the Installation wizard by typing:
./getplayer-linux
Uninstalling VMware
If for some reasons you want to uninstall VMware Player, use the following command:
